Theology Thesis Example: Chapter I – Introduction to Imago Dei
A. Background
The concept of Imago Dei, meaning the image of God in humanity, is a fundamental doctrine in Christian theology rooted in the creation narrative of the Book of Genesis. Genesis 1:26–27 states, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.” This passage affirms that every human being possesses intrinsic value and dignity as a reflection of God’s nature.
